The DBCG

The Dar Bouazza Contest Group was funded in march 2007. The name comes from the place where our station is being located, near Casablanca (Dar Bouazza means Bouazza's house). Our objective is to build up a competitive hamradio station and use it as much as possible in contests during the next solar cycle... Currently the goup members are: Le "Dar Bouazza Contest Group" a été formé en Mars 2007. Le nom vient de l'endroit où notre station permanente sera située près de Casablanca(inaguration prévue fin 2007) ; Dar Bouazza veut dire "la maison de Bouazza". Notre objectif est de construire une station compétitive au niveau international et de l'utiliser le plus possible pendant le prochain cycle solaire... A ce jour les membres du groupe sont:

CN8PA Si Mohamed.Our friend and host in Dar Bouazza and a very motivated SSB operator. Mohamed is young ham but he learns fast, so I 'm sure he'll become soon a "top-notch" polyvalent contester. He's also a good "ironman" and can do anything with iron or aluminium - essential for a Contest Group !Notre ami et notre hôte à Dar Bouazza, et un opérateur SSB très motivé. Mohamed est un "jeune radioamateur", mais il comprends vite, et pas de doute qu'il deviendra bientôt un opérateur "top-class". Il est aussi très habile de ses mains, avec tout ce qui touche aux métaux... essentiel pour une équipe contest !

F5IQA alias CN2QA, Jean-Luc. Although is preferred mode is SSB, Jean-Luc is a polyvalent operator. He has a great experience of both HF and VHF contesting. He is also a fine tech. A real value for the Group! Bien que le mode dans lequel il excelle soit la SSB, Jean-Luc est un opérateur polyvalent, qui a une grande expérience des contests, tant en HF qu'en VHF. C'est aussi un technicien habile. Une valeur certaine pour le groupe!

F5VIH,alias SV3SJ, CN2NS, Nico. Our Doctor ! (Nico currently works as physician for the CERN in Geneva). Nico is an excellent and polyvalent contester (Although he prefers CW), an excellent technician and builder and last but not least a fine cook ! Nico est notre Docteur (en physique! - il travaille actuellement pour le CERN à Genève). Nico est un brillant opérateur multi-mode (bien qu'il préfère la CW). C'est aussi un technicien et constructeur habile et ce qui ne gache rien, un fin cuisinier.

You have dozen of pages on my 2 blogs, to discover who I am, so I would only mention, that this group and the Dar Bouazza station is a dream that is finaly becoming the reality.See you in many contests... Vous avez des douzaines de pages sur mes 2 blogs pour découvrir qui je suis, aussi je mentionnerai seulement que la station de Dar Bouazza est un vieux rêve qui prends enfin corps... A bientôt dans de nombreux contests...
